Hiring Erin gave me the confidence to have my third baby without an epidural, something I wouldn't have attempted without her support. Erin was a pillar of calm during the stress of an unexpected change in hospitals in the last week of pregnancy. Her preparation and expertise helped me stay in control when labor proceeded way faster than I anticipated. We loved working with Erin and my husband and I consider this our best birth experience yet!

As first time parents, my husband and I decided to hire a doula for pregnancy and labor/delivery. We live far away from family and thought a doula could be helpful with navigating this new part of life. Erin exceeded our expectations! She guided us through every question, concern, idea, thought, etc and made us feel very comfortable and knowledgable in preparation for birth! We had a whirlwind of a birth story and we are so glad Erin was a part of it! Even though we technically hired her for pregnancy, prep, labor and delivery, she is still always happy to communicate with us and she continues to ease my mind almost weekly through anxiety-filled first time mom texts! Erin is the best!!

I am so glad I [had a doula]. Having that support there for me was amazing. Erin made me feel like we were friends. Counterpressures were one of my saving graces during labor and she was great at reading me and jumping in exactly when she needed to. Hello! First time momma here. We absolutely adore Erin!! I started researching childbirth and came across the doula topic. I immediately was interested because I wanted to have an unmedicated hospital birth. From the research I had done, I wanted a supportive person other than my husband there to advocate for the choices I had made prior to birth (my birth plan).

Meeting Erin for the first time…it was like we had known her for years. She answered every single one of our questions. Two visits prior to the birth and two visits after is what I needed and I looked forward to those visits. I also loved the idea of her coming to our house when labor started, although my labor was a bit faster than any of us expected.

We ended up giving birth at a birth center, Erin met us there and was great support. She gave me the encouragement that I needed. Also, my husband kept talking afterwards about how happy he was that Erin was there. She was able to relieve him of counter pressure so he could come talk with me and be by my face while I still received the counter pressure that I needed.
We will be calling Erin again for all of our future births. Thank you so much Erin!!

Erin was an invaluable support for the pregnancy and birth of my second child. I was planning for an unmedicated VBAC in hospital and was able to meet that birth goal largely due to her help. Her knowledge and dedication to advocating for me led to the most wonderful labor and birth experience. I highly recommend Erin as not only your doula but your friend! She taught my husband how to be a better birth partner and was so helpful during my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Despite our “birth plan” changing last minute… Erin provided the support we needed to make the best decision for our baby. I will never be able to thank her enough for her calm demeanor and warm, encouraging words during a traumatic part of my birth. It was because of her constant support and encouragement that I recovered so well mentally and also physically. Erin is Amazing! She is knowledgeable and has a lot of resources to help with every subject on child birth/ breast feeding. She is so understanding to personal situations and is just awesome to work with! She is always so willing to answer any questions and was always delightful to talk to even when I called her at 1am after my water broke! She was our calm during a quick labor and listened to me and my needs well. We are so glad that we decided to hire her as our Doula!

I highly recommend Erin and the Born to Birth team. Erin did a great job preparing me in the months before the birth of my baby but then most importantly she was there when we needed her and provided support to me and my husband for more than 12 hours while I was in labor. She was a crucial part of the labor and delivery of my baby and worked well with my midwife to advocate for me and ensure that my birth plan was followed as best it could be. I am so thankful for Erin and again, highly recommend her.
